Bronco Everglades – Everything You Need to Know
Ford Motor Company recently debuted the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades! This trim slides between the Black Diamond and Outer Banks and is built to breathe when the air gets thick.
It comes with 4 doors and a MIC hard top. The customer can choose Eruption Green, Area 51, Shadow Black, Cactus Gray, or the new Desert Sand as the color. The interior accent color is Urban Green which is similar to olive.
The Everglades comes standard with the Sasquatch Package as well as a 2.3L engine with automatic transmission only. It is meant to be a mud, trail, type SUV so it comes equipped with 35” Mud Terrain Tires and a factory installed snorkel which is a first for Ford! This allows for water fording up to 36.4 inches BUT that’s only 3 inches more than the regular Sasquatch. The axles, transfer case, and transmission also have raised vents to help with water fording. Do you think it’s worth it? Let us know in the comments.
The Mid package is the only one offered BUT it does come with the 12 inch screen which is normally found in the high package. From the factory, it also includes a Warn Zenon 10-S winch on the modular bumper with a 10,000lb capacity.
Similar to the Bronco Raptor, the Everglades has unique squared fender flares. The Bronco Raptor fender flares have been a hot topic so which do you prefer? Raptor or Everglades?
It also has this large “Everglades” graphic on the front fenders as opposed to the typical decal that is found on other trims.
How do you get your hands on one of these? GREAT QUESTION! Ford has not released that information yet but what we do know is that ordering begins in March and is exclusively available for existing Bronco reservation holders whose Broncos have not yet been scheduled to be built.
