12 Things I LOVE about the Ford GT
It’s almost been one year since I got my Ford GT! Here are 12 things I LOVE about it:
1. Carbon Series- This is a Carbon Series GT which means bare carbon is exposed on the vehicle. It really shows Ford’s craftsmanship when building the GT.
2. Aerodynamics – The wing in the back is a hydraulically actuated rear wing which can act as an air brake.
3. Satin PPF – The whole idea behind the satin finish is for the car to look like the Batmobile. Do you think we got it right?
4. 7 Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission – Because of the transmission and paddle shifters, it is very easy to launch the car.
5. Gas cap locks with the doors – The gas tank only unlocks when the doors are unlocked as a way to protect the engine.
6. Limited Production & Resale Value – Although MSRP was originally $600,000, the GT will be worth well over $1 million when we are allowed to sell it.
7. Hydrolic Suspension – There are different track modes that all for comfort when driving.
8. Flying Buttress – The air comes in from the inner cooler, up through the flying buttress, and down into the motor.
9. Driving Experience – The car wants to be pushed hard!
10. Structural Carbon Fiber Plus Titanium Roll Cage – Even though everything is made of carbon fiber, it still has the titanium roll cage.
11. Ownership Experience – Every GT customer has a concierge at their beck and call before and after taking delivery.
12. 3.5L V6 EcoBoost – It’s a V6 but it doesn’t sound or drive like a V6.
